About Bethel Gate Services
Bethel Gate Services has been handling gate installation, repair, and automation work in Eugene, OR since 2012. The company was built around a straightforward idea: do the work right, be honest about what needs to be done, and stand behind it. That approach has resulted in a steady customer base made up largely of repeat clients and referrals — the kind of track record that only develops through consistent, reliable work.
The company handles both residential and commercial gate work across Eugene and the surrounding Lane County area. Residential jobs range from single-panel driveway swing gates to fully automated sliding gate systems with keypad or remote access. On the commercial side, the team takes on high-cycle gate operators, vehicle loop detector systems, telephone entry units, and intercom installations for businesses, property management companies, and industrial facilities.
Most of the equipment Bethel Gate Services deals with is mechanical and electrical — gate operators, control boards, limit switches, safety devices, access panels, and structural gate hardware. Getting it right requires both technical knowledge and practical experience, and that combination is what separates a good gate company from one that generates callbacks.
Meet the Manager
Adam Gordon
Manager, Bethel Gate Services
Adam Gordon has been working in the gate and fencing industry for over 15 years. He started out doing hands-on installation work before eventually launching Bethel Gate Services to run things on his own terms. Adam handles everything from automated gate systems to manual installations and repairs — he knows the technical side inside and out, which means fewer surprises for customers and faster turnaround on jobs.
He takes pride in showing up on time, giving honest quotes, and not cutting corners on materials or workmanship. Customers keep coming back because Adam is straightforward to deal with and stands behind his work. When a job is done, it's done right — and if something isn't right, he addresses it.
Adam's background covers the full scope of gate system types — single and double swing gates, V-track slide gates, cantilever systems, and automated operators from residential-grade to commercial-duty. He's comfortable with the electrical side as well: control board wiring, access control integration, loop detector installation, and safety compliance verification.
Technical Experience & Trade Knowledge
Gate work sits at the intersection of mechanical and electrical systems. Getting it right means understanding how gate operators function at a component level — motor assemblies, gearboxes, control boards, limit switches, and safety device inputs. It also means understanding the structural side: post placement, hinge sizing, track configurations, and the load tolerances of different gate materials.
Bethel Gate Services brings over a decade of direct, hands-on experience with this equipment in real-world Eugene installations. We've worked on gate systems in varying condition — from brand-new commercial builds to aging residential setups with poorly maintained hardware. That range of experience matters when it comes to accurate diagnosis and realistic repair recommendations.
All automated gate installations and operator replacements are completed in compliance with UL 325, the industry standard governing automatic gate operator safety. This includes proper entrapment protection, safety sensor placement, and force limit settings. We don't cut corners on safety compliance — both because it's the right thing to do and because improperly installed automated gates create real liability exposure for property owners.
